Results

There are four dependent variables to be analyzed: Hip Flex, Hip Ext, Knee Flex and Knee Ext. There are three independent variables (factors) to be considered: Treatment (1 = Control, 2 = Massage, 3 = Stretch), Time (1= Before, 2 = After) and Side (1 = Left, 2 = Right). The variable Knee Ext is constant (equal to 0) for all levels of all factors, and therefore, it can be removed from the analysis.

In order to answer the research questions of whether any of the factors has an effect on the dependent variables, a Factorial 3x2x2 ANOVA will be conducted for each the dependent variables Hip Flex, Hip Ext and Knee Flex.
