The objective of the quantitative analysis of my thesis is : For the experimental group ( peer teaching group) and the control group (regular type of instruction group), I will compare the students’ scores in their diagnostic test, which was conducted at the beginning of the semester, with the students’ scores in the final test. The result of the comparison of this study will provide quantitative results of the students’ content improvements or declines for the experimental group and the control group.

The data set in the attached EXCSL file.

The independent variables are the types of instructions or the groups ( nominal). The dependent variable is the scores ( continuous). I need to run an Independent sample t-test and look at the gain of post test - pretest for both groups to see the overall improvement between the groups.
