(See Steps) Jerry Longjump, Director of the Prescott City Parks and Recreation Department (you remember him) is also charged with operating the concession
Question: Jerry Longjump, Director of the Prescott City Parks and Recreation Department (you remember him) is also charged with operating the concession stands for the Prescott Stadium, the home of the Prescott Privateers, a minor league baseball league team. Old Mayor Harley Davidson is on the warpath again because he saw that at the end of the last minor league baseball game, against the Hilton Razors, that the workers had to throw out too many pre-cooked hot dogs which were unsold. Mayor Davidson wants Jerry to come up with a better idea of how many hot dogs will be sold so that, " You don’t waste so many of those darn dogs ".
Jerry knows from experience that the mayor will only accept hard evidence, so he gathers information on ticket sales and the number of hot dogs sold for a ten-day period. Jerry knows that attendance is usually twice the advance ticket sales, so he wants to find out if there is any correlation between the advanced ticket sales and the number of hotdogs sold that day. If so, then he could get the mayor off of his back, and predict how many dogs will be sold based on the advanced ticket sales for that game.

Write your null and research hypotheses and then using what you have learned in this lesson, indicate if there seems to be any relationship between the advanced ticket sales for the privateers and the number of hot dogs sold.
NOTE: Weather and other "normal" circumstances don’t count in this study. Also, indicate if this comparison makes sense and why?
