[Solution] You are faced with a hand calculation of ∫_R x d x d y where R is the two-dimensional region consisting of everything bounded by the lines
Question: You are faced with a hand calculation of
\[\iint_{\mathrm{R}} x d x d y\]where \(\mathrm{R}\) is the two-dimensional region consisting of everything bounded by the lines
\[\begin{aligned} &x+y=0, x+y=1 \\ &x-y=0, \text { and } x-y=1 \end{aligned}\]
This is just a little nasty, because doing it without going to better paper involves solving some equations, and then doing two separate integrals.
Switch to paper on which you can evaluate this with one sweet integral and then calculate its value.
