Problem 4: An evaluation of a new coating applied to 3 different materials was conducted at 3 different laboratories located in Atlanta, Charlotte, and Jacksonville. Each laboratory tested 5 samples from each of the treated materials including: SAE 1010, AISI 413, and Stainless 304. The tests results represent the time to oxidation (in hours) when exposed to a salt spray. Results are given in the table above. Run the appropriate statistical procedures and analyze, and explain the results. Prepare a statement of recommendation to the president of PLASMA-COAT, Inc.
