Question: The Editor of the Prescott Daily Disappointment, Archie Smiley, and Robert Pencil Warren are worried about Senator Joe’s new hog farm that he wants to build in western Prescott County. While Senator Joe says, “Those hogs of mine aren’t pigs”; some of the environmentalists in the county think that soon the county will be up to its neck in hog manure. In order to find out the view of the locals on the new hog farm, the Disappointment and Warren decide to survey registered voters in the county. They surveyed 248 Republicans and only 56 were against the hog farm; while of the 379 Democrats some 249 were against the hog farm coming to Prescott County.
