Question: A medical researcher wants to determine whether a new drug affects the number of headache hours experienced by headache sufferers. To do so, the researcher selects seven patients and asks each to give the number of headache hours (per day) each experiences before and after taking the drug. The results are shown in the table. Use the Wilcoxon Signed-Rank test (guidelines on page 577 in our textbook) and a = 0.05 to test the claim that the new drug does affect the number of headache hours.
