Question: We are using basic business statistics by Berenson, 10^th edition. These are binominal, Poisson problems and they have to be done manually. I did this one, which will show the formula we are using. The 2^nd problem I need, I am not sure why I am not getting this.

The problem I did is as follows:

The quality control manager of Marilyn’s cookies is inspecting a batch of chocolate chip cookies that has just been baked. If the production process is in control, the mean number of chip parts per cookie is 6.0. What is the probability that in any particular cookie being inspected.

a) Fewer than five chips will be found?

b) Exactly five chip parts will be found?
