Question: Twelve statistics students suffering from severe test-anxiety were recruited to participate in a study to evaluate a therapy designed to reduce their fear of tests. Half of the students were randomly assigned to an experimental condition (Group 1) and were trained to relax during mock exams using transcendental meditation.
