[Solved] Fill in this table of minimum detectable difference values with the formula for two sampled t -tests: δ ≥ √(2s_p^2)/(n)(t_alpha
Question: Fill in this table of minimum detectable difference values with the formula for two sampled t -tests: \[\delta \ge \sqrt{\frac{2s_{p}^{2}}{n}}\left( {{t}_{\alpha (2),\nu }}+{{t}_{\beta (1),\nu }} \right)\] , where is the minimum detectable distance between population means 1 - 2 and s p is the pooled estimate standard deviation. You will have to use the function TINV in Excel to get some of the t threshold values (see the APPENDIX for instructions).
| n | s p | | t | | t , | Power | |
| 5 | 1 | 0.05 | 0.9 | ||||
| 10 | 0.5 | 0.05 | 0.8 | ||||
| 15 | 10 | 0.05 | 0.25 | ||||
| 5 | 0.1 | 0.01 | 0.95 | ||||
| 10 | 2 | 0.01 | 0.4 | ||||
| 15 | 4 | 0.01 | 0.9 |
