Pick two of the rows in this table—do they correspond with a normal distribution with a mean of 515 and standard deviation 114?

For each one, you can either:

  1. figure out what the 75 th (or 50 th or 25 th ) percentile should be in the normal distribution, and compare it to the score given in the table; or
  2. figure out what percentile 590 (or 510 or 430) should be, and compare it to the percentile given in the table.
