Statistics Project

Select questions of interest:  explore the dataset and become familiar with the variables.  Then decide on the questions you are interested in answering through your statistical analyses.  The questions you ask will determine the analyses you run as part of the assignment.  You should have 2-4 questions with at least one of which requires an inferential statistical analyses (either parametric or non-parametric).

Identify independent and dependent variables: once you determine your questions, you need to identify the independent and independent variables of interest.  Describe each of these variables which may include the appropriate descriptive/frequency analysis information.

Determine appropriate statistical analyses: the questions you ask will determine the appropriate statistical analyses.  Run these analyses and report the relevant results and interpretation.
