The objective of this report is to assess whether males and females differ in their perception about whether or not homosexuals should be allowed to teach. In the context of this analysis, the independent variable is SEX (Male = 1, Female = 2), and the dependent variable is COLHOMO (Allow homosexual to teach, Allowed = 4, Not Allowed = 5). The main purpose of the analysis is to use a Chi-Square Test of Independence to assess whether or not there is a significant difference in objective of this report is to determine the position about whether or not perception about whether or not homosexuals should be allowed to teach by gender. For the purpose of the test, the assumption that expected counts are greater than five needs to be met.
