This week we will discuss concepts related to comparisons involving means and analysis of variance (Please note: You are required to post two posts as directed below).
Please read the textbook and the article I uploaded. Please describe how the author performs comparisons involving means. In your discussion, please indicate why it is useful. How does the author performs the test? Is the population standard deviation known or unknown? Why might it be important to know whether population standard deviation is known or unknown?
In your second post , please do some research and find a case where ANOVA analysis is warranted. Please describe the application of analysis of variance with some level of details. In your description, please show the logical and usefulness of an ANOVA.
