Compare male and female undergraduate students at Concordia University Chicago in terms of their SAT scores

Compare male and female undergraduate students at Concordia University Chicago in terms of their SAT scores and GPA (as such, you will be conducting TWO separate independent-samples t-tests, one right after the other). For each t-test, state the following:

  1. Research Question (e.g., Do Group A differ from Group B in terms of X?)
  2. Null hypothesis (e.g., Group A does not differ from Group B in terms of X.)
  3. Research hypothesis (e.g., Group A does not differ from Group B in terms of X.)
  4. Appropriate descriptive analysis of the variables being used in this analysis (e.g., mean, standard deviation, mode, median, range, min and max)
  5. Clear interpretation of the findings. (Use Module 6 Lecture Slides #6 or #7 as examples.)

Cut and paste the output from using Excel Data Analysis Toolpak at the end of your paper. This is to ensure that you are using the Toolpak effectively. You will not receive full credit for this assignment without this critical step.  The directions on how to perform independent-samples t-tests in Excel are in Chapter 11 of your textbook, t( ea ) for Two: Tests Between the Means of Different Groups.
