Question: It is claimed that delayed perinatal stroke occurs in one third of children who have risk factors. Of a sample of 590 children with risk factors, who were studied, 223 were diagnosed with perinatal stroke. At 5% level of significance test (i) by classical method (using critical values) and (ii) by p-value, that the proportion of children with risk factors who have perinatal stroke is one-third, against that it is not.
