The disk spaces that these files require are normally distributed with a mean of 0.2 Mb and a standard deviation of 0.085 Mb. The capacity of the floppy disks that are to be used is 1.44 Mb. Staff are instructed to save six files on to each disk. Assuming that the selection of files will be random:

A) Work out the maximum mean disk space per file that is available and find the probability that there is insufficient disk space on a disk for six files.

B) What is the probability that there is insufficient disk space if only five files are stored per disk?
