We are interested in the following research questions

1. Does sex act as a significant predictor of Dropout Status?
2. Does race act as a significant predictor of Dropout Status?
3. Does social economic status act as a predictor of Dropout Status?
4. Does parents' education act as a predictor of Dropout Status?
5. What factors influenced the dropout of students?

In the context of this research, the variable Dropout Status is the dependent variable, where are the other variables mentioned above will be considered as predictors. The emphasis will be put on non-symmetric measures of the strength of the association (directional measures). Notice that for most of the following analyses the assumptions for the Chi-Square are not met (because of the high percentage of expected cells that are less than 5), but still the value of the Chi-Square statistic is included as a reference.
