Carers were requested to rate on a 10-point scale the quality of their relationship with their children
Carers were requested to rate on a 10-point scale the quality of their relationship with their children in terms of the extent to which it was positive or negative, warm or cold, close of distant and easy-going or tense. Higher scores represent more positive ratings.
Research questions:
- Are there any differences in caregivers’ rating of the quality of their relationship with their children according to whether the child verbally abused the carer? (You will need to conduct four t -tests)
- Are there any differences in caregivers’ rating of the quality of their relationship with their children according to whether the child physically abused (i.e., fighting) the carer? (You will need to conduct four t -tests)
Answer this question using the data in children (2006). sav . Again, write up the analyses in a format suitable for the Results section of a research report. You may want to present your results in a table. If so, make sure that you follow the guidelines for a table in Findlay (2003) or in the APA manual. Provide some interpretation of your results. Again this should be approximately a page.
