- On the same graph, draw a scatter plot for both males and females. Be sure to use a different. plotting symbol for each group. Treat number of licensed drivers as explanatory variable.
- Based on the scatter diagrams, do you think that insurance companies are justifled in charging different insurance rates for males and females? Why?
- Compute the correlation between number of licensed drivers and number of crashes for both males and females.
- Find the least-squares regression line for males and females. Draw regression lines on graph.
- Interpret the slope of the least-squares regression line for each gender.
- Predict number of accidents for males if there were 8700 thousand licensed drivers. Do the same for females.
