  1. Create the variable Time as a numeric variable,
  2. Create the variable Status coded [1 = dead; 0 = censored], and
  3. Create the variable Count as a numeric variable.

  1. Select Analyze>Survival>Kaplan-Meier.
  2. Move Time into the Time box.
  3. Move Status into the Status box.
  4. Click Define Event , select Singe event value and type 1 in the box
  5. Click Options and select Mean and median survival , Survival table ; select Plots: Survival
