Assignment 4

You are asked, using for each section whichever of the course data-sets you wish:

1. to devise, estimate and discuss a linear regression model, on some topic that interests you.
   and
2. to devise, estimate and discuss a logistic regression model, on some topic that interests you.

[You can, if you wish, revisit the dependent variable you examined in Assignment 1; but you should not revisit the dependent variables from Assignments 2 and 3.]

For the purposes of this exercise a minimum of two and no more than six predictors should considered in either model.

To obtain a pass mark you must, in at least one of (a) or (b), intelligently deploy at least one categorical predictor of more than two categories.

Marks will be given for evidence that you understand the connection between the models you estimate and your explanatory concerns. Further credit will be given for an understanding of the more advanced material covered in the classes [for example, the inclusion, if appropriate, of an interaction effect in model (a)].
