The purpose of this paper is to give examples analyze the various different types and forms of surveys. When referring to surveys, the focus is put on both academic and non-academic surveys. The basic structure as well as the statistical foundations of each type of survey is analyzed here.

The types of surveys analyzed in this paper are:
