Project 3 Directions:

Choose one of the following pairs of questions and survey 20 students here at Keep a tally of answers to question 1 and list of answers to question 2 on a piece of paper so you can later transfer the tally of answers to question 1 to your turn-in sheet.

Transfer the list of responses to question 2 to stat disk. Follow the directions in Project 1 to get the Summary Statistics you'll need for the mean & standard deviation.

1A: Are you married or in a relationship right now? "yes" or "no"

2A : How many months have you been married or in this relationship?

1B: Do you have children? "yes" or "no"

2B: How many children do you have?

(If they answer no to 1B, use 0 for number of children, so you will have 20 in this sample.)

1C: Do you own a car or drive a car to campus? "yes" or "no"

2C: How old is that car? (Subtract the model year from 2005)

(If they answer no to \(1 \mathrm{C}\), do not ask them \(2 \mathrm{C}\), so you'll have fewer than \(2 \mathrm{v}\) in this sample.)

1D: Do you get financial aid? "yes" or "no"

2D: How many credit hours are you currently enrolled in (withdrawals don't count)?

(If they say no to \(1 \mathrm{D}\), do not ask \(2 \mathrm{D}\), so this sample will be less than 20 )

1E: Do you work? "yes" or "no"

\(2 \mathrm{E}\) : How many hours per week do you usually work?

(If they say no to \(1 \mathrm{E}\), do not ask \(2 \mathrm{E}\), so this sample will be fewer than 20.)
