The objective of this project is analyzing the possible association between abortion rates and crimes. This subject has been widely studied, for example in

Two variables will be analyzed in this paper:

• Abort : Number of abortions per 1000 live births
• Mur_u25 : Murder arrests of individuals aged under 25

A dataset with 304 valid cases is obtained from:

http://islandia.law.yale.edu/donohue/Abortion.htm

The main purpose of this paper is analyzing whether or not there is relationship between these two variables.
