Statistics Assignment

Scenario 1

  1. State the null hypotheses.
  2. State the research (alternative) hypotheses.
  3. The SPSS output follows. Explain why the researcher selected this statistical test procedure. Explain why post hoc analyses were not done. Is the assumption that this is the correct test the right one?
  4. Summarize the analysis. You may use a combination of narrative and tables format if necessary. Use correct APA formatting to express your findings. Quit rates are important to report for this study. Be sure you have included those.

  5. State the null hypothesis.
  6. State the research (alternative) hypothesis.
  7. The SPSS output follows. Explain why the researcher selected this statistical test procedure. Did she select the correct test?
  8. Summarize the analysis. You may use a combination of narrative and tables format if necessary. Use correct APA formatting to express your findings.

(Abbreviations are located in Appendix A.)

9. State the null hypotheses.

10. State the research (alternative) hypotheses.

11. The SPSS output follows. Explain why the researcher selected this statistical test procedure and what assumptions had to be met.
