Analysis of the whole population

In this part we will present basic descriptive statistics of the income (in $1000’s) for the whole dataset of 16,383 cases. The following descriptive statistics and histogram are obtained:

The mean income is $30,425, with a standard deviation of $26,617, and the median of $25,000. The distribution of income is highly skewed right, due to the large amount of right outliers (some extremely high incomes).
