In this project, calculate an F test, or ANOVA, and provide interpretations for it using common statistical terminology. Specifically, use the IQ, Gender, and ENGL variables from the data sheet. Thus, the number of groups will be three using the above variables, and subsequently requires the use of an ANOVA. Examine if the three independent groups of participants (college prep, general, and remedial) obtained significantly different scores on the dependent variable (IQ obtained from a group administered IQ test) in the data set. Additionally, examine the three test assumptions.
More specifically:
Calculate an F-test (ANOVA) for three independent groups using the level of English in ninth grade as the independent variable, and IQ as the dependent variable. Discuss all results and provide an interpretation that includes: correct use of descriptive statistics terminology, analysis of the three test assumptions, analysis of the F test and Post Hoc Tests, conclusions related to a research question and hypotheses, and any limitations regarding those conclusions. A minimum of 1000 words total is required for the report's four sections.
