Potato Case Study:

Instructions: You are NOT allowed to discuss the case with anyone including the professors. The homework should be typed in MS Word and well organized. Email me the Word file as well as the SAS file.

Consider yourself working for a company, your boss hands you the Potato data and ask you to find a regression model to predict SOLID (response variable) using the predictor variables (PH, LOWER, UPPER, THICK, VARIDRIV, AND DRUMSPD).

1. Perform all the necessary procedures using all the tools that you learned so far in this course to come up with the best regression model to predict SOLID. Make sure you check all the assumptions and for outliers, and to do model selection using both subset and stepwise methods.
2. Write a summary report of what you did.
