HW#5 – Multiple Regression

Part I - This is a multi-part problem consisting of Exercises 13.21-13.37 on page 584-85. We will be using Data Set B – Noodles and Company Sales. The file is Noodles2.xls . Please read the instructions carefully (they are right above 13.21). You should use either SPSS or Megastat since the DAT does not give all of the regression diagnostics you need. You will provide all of your answers in an MS Word document. Please rename this document as: Noodles-your last name.docx . Use Headings to clearly label each question and answer (see Example Headings below and note that they are use the Heading 1 style – they are NOT manually formatted). Include any graphs and other statistical output directly in your MS Word report. You can use Word’s built in Equation Editor as needed for writing mathematical things. I showed how this works in class and you can obviously use Help and Google to figure it out. Make sure your report is titled at the top and includes your name in the Header and includes page numbers in the Footer. Submit your file via Moodle.
