1. INTRODUCTION.

The objective of the investigation is to evaluate the characterization of the GNI per capita (dependent variable) on the basis of the Public S pending on education and to the Health expenditure (independent variable). We are looking for to asses the existence of a linear relati on to predict GNI.

Graphs 1 and 2 show the scatter plots with the raw data, and it is observed that there is a rather weak positive linear pattern between the predictors Public spending on education and Health expenditure and the response variable GNI per capita .
