Exercise 1
The attached proposal is semi-complete. Using the research topic in the proposal please correct its structure where necessary and expand it to eight pages. A minimum of ten references is required. I have also attached another 6 page document that basically is an example of the tone I would like this proposal to have. Only, this document is more of blog-type writing and I would like this paper to say about the same thing but in a more structured way and with references to back up the claims.
Here a list of some resources:
-CIVICUS’ 2011 publication on civil society in Rwanda
-SIDA’s publications on Rwanda
-Gov. of Rwanda website
-Publication from MINICOFIN AND MINALOC Rwanda
Exercise 2
- Develop a questionnaire from the objective set in the attached research proposal (a questionnaire that can be answered in seven minutes). In the questionnaire, show that you can utilize all kinds of questions (closed, open-ended...)
- If the information was being collected from 300 respondents, draw up a management plan to show how you as a survey coordinator would ensure accuracy, progress and success.
- Prepare a coding key for the questionnaire. (I think excel will suffice for this).
- 1200 words max for exercise 2.
Exercise 4
- From the data set attached, select a dependable variable. Select 4 independent variables, which you feel may influence the dependent variable.
- Run frequencies on each variable and re-categorize each variable into categories suitable for crosstabs analysis.
-
Briefly explain the rationale you have followed in the recode process.
Examine the associations between the dependent and independent variables using the crosstabs and chi square procedure. - Where appropriate supplement the crosstabs analysis with a T-test or correlation fully explaining the results.
- Prepare a report detailing the findings from the analysis. Your report should contain at least one table properly labeled and fully interpreted.
Deliverable: Word Document
