Problem: Collect at least 30 observations (responses) from public domain like official statistics. This may be a hospital data, student test score from a class or data from Fedstat, canstat, Eurostat, CDC, NIH etc… Collect one set of data qualitative in nature and one set quantitative in nature.

For the qualitative data set make a frequency table and draw a bar chart and pie chart.

For quantitative data set do the following:

Find the mean, median, and mode and five number summaries (Minimum, quartile 1, quartile 2, quartile 3 and maximum value of the data. For the five number summary draw a box plot and in your own words tell us what do understand about the data you collected.

For the quantitative data set make a frequency table and a Histogram.

Find the 23 ^rd , 45 ^th , 87 ^th , and 96 ^th percentiles for the quantitative data set.

Select a value from the data set and calculate its percentile value. Explain all these like a user manual for some one.
