Assignment 6 :

Find an article from a popular source that uses descriptive statistics to support an argument being made by the article. Write a paper about how the statistics are used in the paper and how they lend credence to the paper and/or assist the author in making his/her point. Suggest other ways that statistics could have been used in the source article, as well as any different interpretations that could have been made given the information given in the article.

Some sources that would be acceptable would be a major newspaper, a weekly magazine like Time or Newsweek, or a similar publication. Please feel free to send me an e-mail if you have any questions about the article you would like to use.

The paper should be roughly 750 words in length. This is just a rough word count to give you a sense of how detailed the paper should be. You will not be penalized for going over or under the estimated word count. This paper should be in APA format.
